Dutch Clover Honey
Dutch Clover honey is produced from the white blossomed, four-leaf clover seen along roadsides and in meadows. This honey is semi-sweet, has a mild caramel flavor, and is our choice for use in tea or coffee.
I love the stronger / more distinctive single-source honeys on toast or with cheese — but these tend to overpower a subtle tea, like the Darjeeling in my mug right now. Ames Farm’s Dutch clover honey has become my favorite sweetener for most teas.
I’ve been so impressed with this producer - and every honey I’ve ordered from them! I appreciate the sample sizes - so I can try all their offerings, before ordering the big jars!
I recently ordered 3 varieties of Ames Farm honey because I can never choose a favorite. They are all so delicious. I have used almost half of the jar of the Dutch clover in the last week. It is the perfect honey for English breakfast tea.
Got some of this honey at the farmers' market on a whim, and I am so glad I did. It's by far the best clover honey I've ever had.

I first bought this honey as a gift for a friend who spent most of her life with easy access to fresh produce and honey from local farms and has high standards. She told me it was the best clover honey she'd ever had. After that, I bought some for myself and came to the same conclusion. This is the perfect honey, and I've given out many more jars as gifts. I especially love it in chai and honey lemon tea.
